It's a lot of fun and a very different level than the rest of the game... which, I suppose, is in-tune with the rest of the game's excellent variety and character in each world. But having an absolute *blast* with the "Deal" part (hard mode missions). They're *very* difficult, they're very fair, and the music for the hard mode bosses is *astonishingly* good. Posting this after beating Mafia EX and getting both bonus stamps on it without using the 'easy mode', Peace and Tranquility.I love fair challenges in games with tight controls - the Arkham Series comes to mind, with very difficult 'challenge room' type scenarios that push your skills to the limit and force you to not only learn new tactics, but master the basics. That's this. It's great. Also, apparently this DLC is what added the Smug Dance - thought it was part of the base game, since I got this game and all DLC from the get go.You can do the Smug Dance by alternating between blowing a raspberry and blowing a kiss twice (controllers would be pressing up-down-up-down on the DPad): adds a lot of character to drop into this dance whenever, and the dance itself matches the beat of the current BGM.Get this DLC. Even if you don't like hard mode stuff (the 'Deal' side of the DLC), these devs deserve all the love they can get for what they've made.Plus, some mods require it, and there are a LOT of great mods out there. So what are you waiting for?. Seal the Deal contains an extra story chapter, Arctic Cruise, and a challenging, more difficult version of the earlier chapters, called Death Wish. Arctic Cruise is somewhat more confusing than the other chapters, since you're not in an open area, most of the acts took part inside a big ship. Death Wish contracts can grant you new, exclusive hat flairs and color palettes, but get ready for a hard time, and if you're thinking about it, cheats are disabled in this mode.. Although Death Wish is extremely and sometimes unfairly difficult, for a price like this you're getting your money's worth and more.On one side, you have The Arctic Cruise which is a fun, yet sadly short-lived chapter. Then you have Death Wish, also known as the bane of my existence.Overall, if you like A Hat in Time and think you're up to the challenge of Death Wish, go ahead.. Is the Base Game to easy? Do you want a Challenge? If so, buy this DLC and try to beat the Deathwish Challenges. The Story dlc is fine for the Price. The Challenges are more the Juice of this. I understand that it sometimes is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t because you bug inside something or the game just sets you back on some failed jump even tho you made it.But for the Price its heckin good.. artic cruise - eh, fine for an hour or two, but really lacks FUN compared to the main gametl;dr me crying about death wishnow, The Death Wish (aka 'lol just git gud or use PT loser haha') - overall, a nice spin on old levels with an addition of "hella cool" challenges (don't get me wrong, some levels/candle challenges are truly fun and let you experience some unobvious game mechanics, that's just not so much of it as you would expect) and gives you a VERY EPIC opportunity to ♥♥♥♥ yourselves with harder versions of old bosses and, oooh boy, that's where the shid and♥♥♥♥♥of this DLC slumbers. i get that is what this mode is all about - torturing oneself to get that sweet-sweet moments of finally beating the♥♥♥♥♥♥out of that ♥♥♥♥er (or level) who you wasted on your precious time and nerves, and that's fine. but locking (which hurts me the most) full game completion behind this game mode is just beyond me. what about rewards? well just use PT and you're good to go pal. also, i don't get why PT doesn't autocomplete the contract anyway, since doing them on 'easy mode' comes down to basically you playing the same old levels from the base game, but with more time wasted, hooray!final thought: everything would be great if death wish were just a SEPARATE part of the game, without intercoursing with it. for masochists of course. death wish is cool, but the actual map (seal the deal) is a train wreck. probably only get this if you really like hat in time. basically its a huge♥♥♥♥♥ship, and that's the problem.. get good noobs
